For the month of October the South Delta Plein Aire Painters are having a show at the Ladner Library. I don’t get to paint with them every week, but I had two pieces to put in the show. This is a fun and challenging group that welcomes new members.

Show "Daily Practice and Global Issues" at Ron Adrews Showcase, 931 Lytton St., North Vancouver, until June 3.

We are Open for the North Vancouver Art Crawl, March 10 & 11!

Please come and join us for this fun event.  Quite a few studios will be open at 195 Pemberton, and on the street nearby.  I'll have a preview of the series which will be shown in April.  Studio is kid friendly!

WELCOME THE SEASON OF LIGHT!

You are invited to an Open Studio on Saturday, December 3, from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. at 195 Pemberton in North Vancouver.   Many studios will be open! Meet artists at work, "shop local" sale of artworks, clothing and jewellery.  A chance for you to add to our donations to the homeless shelter.  Join me for hot cider and treats!

Culture Days at 195 Studios saw the hosting of parrots from the Greyhaven Sanctuary, and children's crafts related to birds.  It was a very successful day.    Children were also able to write
 a "message to the birds" which will be transcribed onto a drawing to be donated to the Sanctuary.

The "Simply Drawing" annual show at the studio of Sandrine Pelissier in North Vancouver was a successful event.

Now we are heading into "The Long Hot Summer" and it's time to paint and draw outside.
